Break Your Ass at Now Thats Class

Coming Saturday May 10th at 9 p.m. the woodpushers have set up a contest at Now Thats Class. Must be at least 18 to get in and skate. Basically its one of the jankiest quarterpipes you'll ever skate, but as well as one of the funnest. It costs 3 dollars to get in and prizes consist of a portion of the door take as well as another prize package, and giveaways by the woodpushers, megapolis, occult boards, factory 13, lowcard and more. So everyone make it out and skate, drink, and most of all have a good time. Hope we see you all there.

Jackalope/King of Ohio Premiere

Come to the green room in Kent on March 1st for a real live jackalope viewing. 25cent beers...2 bands...and 25cent beers! All shall be drunken and all shall be present. 4 or 5 bucks at the door or free entry with a jackalope shirt. be there homies. . . . . or else. Check back for more information shortly! King Of Ohio.

Cleveland, Akron, Canton: all areas prospering with great spots, great people, and unique attitudes. All three areas have something of their own to offer to skateboarding, allowing Northeast Ohio to be one of the most diverse and interesting areas in Ohio to pay attention to. While still being virtually unknown by the outside skateboarding community. With such power and potential coming from area, why should we condense ourselves into our own little world?

That’s where King of Ohio comes in, giving the top skaters of our area the opportunity to travel and explore all the obstacles Ohio has to offer, along with meeting and getting to know other great skateboarders around the state that share the same love that we all do. Riders from our surrounding area will be brought together for five days to compete against each other for fun to see who takes home the prize of the best assembled team from Northeast Ohio. They will have five days to complete trick lists, city challenges, and random missions in order to earn points to be tallied at the end. At the end, footage will be viewed from all teams to later receive rewards such as product from Osiris, Alien Workshop, Habitat, Reflex, and $1000 dollars cash courtesy of Megapolis. We wish everyone the best and encourage all to have fun, and with your support making this year successful means better things to come later down the road.
